Caila offers workshops in acting, improvisational dance and contact improv, playwriting, and music theatre performance. Caila loves to aid people in the development of their unique artistry and aesthetic skill-set. To do so, she encourages deep exploration of self-awareness, sensory acuity, and kinesthetic perception. Her lessons adapt to meet each student where they are and encourage them to explore their wide range of human expression. Caila believes art relies on a balance of technical ability and individuality, and she creates a safe environment of play and exploration to inspire students to learn without fear of failure. She believes strongly in the power of art as a lens for understanding the world, our bodies, and our emotions, and she uses her art to remind us of the ineffable ties which connect us all to one another.
